Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our clients Fire and Rescue service for a Health and Wellbeing Manager.Health and Wellbeing ManagerLocation: SheffieldContract: PermanentSalary: Grade 9 (£36,922 - £39,880)Hours: 37 per weekWork Pattern: Agile workingOur client, a fire & rescue service, not only do they genuinely want to support the wellbeing of all their staff, they want to work together to integrate health and wellbeing into everyone’s day to day activities, to create a positive and healthy working life.The Health and Wellbeing Manager is integral in promoting and maintaining a culture of positive emotional energy and improved physical, social, psychological and financial wellbeing by developing, co-ordinating and delivering the Health & Wellbeing Strategy for the Service.As the Health and Wellbeing Manager, you will lead on the achievement and maintenance of standards in health and wellbeing that meet the national Blue Light Wellbeing Framework. You will produce, implement and monitor the annual operational plan for the Health & Wellbeing Strategy and you will support the delivery of the strategy through the provision of support, guidance, training, learning and development for their managers and staff. You will work strategically with senior leaders and managers to identify areas of intervention to support the delivery of the workforce health and wellbeing programme.You will have significant experience of working with partners, both internal and external, to promote health and wellbeing and collaborate on opportunities that improve the health and wellbeing of the workforce or as part of a wider health improvement programme. You will also have previously designed and executed health and wellbeing initiatives within the workplace. With a good knowledge of national and regional health and wellbeing initiatives and campaigns, you will have the ability to influence and challenge others to encourage behavioural and cultural change.Supporting and co-ordinating the work of various organisational Health & Wellbeing supporters and champions within the Service, you will develop and implement effective methods of measurement and monitor and evaluate health and wellbeing policies, programmes and services.If you are interested in this role and can demonstrate a passion for health and wellbeing in the workplace and can evidence continued professional and personal development, they would love to hear from you.Closing date for applications is 9:00 a.m. Monday 14 December 2020 Interviews will take place on Wednesday 6 January 2021To Apply and for More Information:Please click the apply button.
