Your Company:The talent acquisition team at NET Recruit are thrilled to be partnering with an exceptionally successful, nationally acclaimed services business, who are searching the market for a Head of UK Internal Audit to lead their highly successful and dynamic teamlocated in the Greater Sheffield area. As a house-hold name, this business has seen strong and consistent success for the last few decades and as such, this is a fantastic time to join the team, as they are continuing these growth plans into the next yearand are expecting further success to follow.Overseeing the entire Internal Audit function within the business, this position is vital to the continued running and continuous improvement efforts of the business and as such requires a highly knowledgeable and technical strong individual with a plethoraof relevant experience to take the helm and drive the business forwards through the next few years, by developing the UK audit plan and closely support global directors within the function.Roles & ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:* Heading up the delivery of the strategy for the business internal audit process, including the methodology and quality assurance standards * Managing the compliance, operational, financial and IT audits for the business* Overseeing and leading efforts across the business for continuous improvement related activities, resulting in an increase in the internal audit effectiveness* Proactively building strong relationships with various internal stakeholders at management level, via many routes including acting as a contributor for formal governance processes* Actively attending and, when needed, presenting at committees for Audit and RiskWhat You Will Need To Apply:To be considered for this role, the business is expecting to see candidates who are fully ACA or IIA qualified and have significant post-qualified (at least 5-10 years) within a senior manager or director level position within areas of risk, assurance or audit,ideally positioned in an accounting firm or large corporate business. Applicants MUST have experience handling data driven audits and have strong technical skills in assurance. Additionally, they would ideally like to see profiles with experience in financialcontrols or SOX. Excellent communication abilities are essential for this position, specifically with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical professionals. Applicants should be capable of driving strategic changein relation to internal audit and be able to implement these processes within this company.What You Will Get In Return:In return this business will compensate the successful applicant with a substantial rewards package including a highly competitive salary, circa £110,000 upwards and supplement this with an strong benefits package.
