Job Description

Head of Human Resources Hybrid, SheffieldFull time, permanent£58,000 - £62,000 per annumTide recruitment is excited to be working with an Education provider that is on the search for a new Head of HR. As the Head of Human Resources, you will be looking after all the functions of HR, therefore we are looking for a true generalist who has a proventrack record of delivering change and transformation projects.We are looking for an enthusiastic people professional who is looking to join a lively team who is hardworking and friendly.As the head of people, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Working closely with the unions
  • Leading on the performance function by delivering people and talent strategic projects
  • Acting as a critical friend to the Executive and Senior Leadership team, providing support and guidance when needed
  • Advise and strategise on the development of effective employment policies across the company
  • Able to implement a new shared services structure along with leading a new business partnering structure
  • Taking a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed.
  • Able to implement the People Partnering and Shared Services by supporting the specific areas of the functions
This is a hybrid position and requires you to be in the office three days a week.Essential Job Criteria
  • Knowledgeable of Employment Law
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Strong leadership experience, managing an HR team effectively and ability to develop robust relationships with stakeholders
  • Experienced with managing and leading change and transformation
Desirable Job Criteria
  • Experience working within the Education sector.
  • Previous experience leading or assisting with implementing a shared services structure and/or new business partnering structure
  • CIPD qualified (ideally MCIPD or above) or equivalent
