Job Description

Axon Moore are partnering with a leading technology business in the Sheffield region to appoint a Group Reporting Manager.The business is one of the stand out employers in the Sheffield region, offering a diverse range of services, a positive and inclusive working culture, and an ethos of high performance running throughout the business. They have a strong international presence and have undertaken a number of significant acquisitions in recent years.This role is a very high profile role within the business, and they will be supported to progress within the organisation.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all Group Reporting activities, encompassing group management, statutory and consolidated accounts
  • Input into Group budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Leading a finance team tasked with preparing high quality and insightful financial reports and data
  • Overseeing statutory accounts preparation under IFRS
  • Involvement with treasury and cash flow forecasting
  • Managing a number of both national and international stakeholder relationships
  • Involvement with a number of high profile finance related projects, including systems, process and acquisitions
The ideal candidate for this role would possess the following skills and experience:
  • Strong technical accountant, ideally qualified as an ACA from practice
  • Ideally have gained post-qualification industry experience in a financial reporting related role
  • Ambitious, high intellect and strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS would be preferable
