Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking to recruit an experienced and driven Group Management Accountant for a leading healthcare business based in Sheffield.This brand new role would suit someone who is wanting to have full autonomy of their role with the responsibilities covering everything from month end, group consolidation, transactional duties (including payroll) projects and much more. The role is based between home and officewith some travel across the East/North Midlands and South Yorkshire as and when required and the successful candidate would ideally be based close to Sheffield!Key responsibilities will include:* Month-end accounts production * Balance sheet accounts reconciliations - PAYE, NI, inter-company etc* P&L analyses and explanations as appropriate* Income and KPI reports / dashboards, issuing to Senior Management* Appetite to get involved in the monthly consolidation of the Group financials, including assistance with drafting key Board Report outputs* Supervisory role; working with 2 part-time Accounts Assistants who post all transactions* Supplier account reconciliations and query resolution on an ad hoc basis* Preparation of proposed monthly payment runs, with sufficient explanation, for review and authorisation by GFC* Uploading BACS payment runs to the bank for processing* Resident accounts reconciliations and query resolution* Hands-on supervisory role for the credit control function, performed by Sales Ledger Clerk* Ensuring supplier and resident details are maintained within the financial system* Involvement in the onboarding of payroll to in-house Sage 50* Ongoing supervisory role over the payroll function, performed by the payroll clerk* Update weekly cashflow reports and forecasts with actuals, working with GFC to issue to Board, Bank and Shareholders* Assist with the roll-out of Direct Debit collections * Involvement in other upcoming projects as the company portfolio grows* Managing relationships and liaison with suppliers and management team* Maintaining the integrity of Group Policies and Procedures* Assistance with annual budgets and forecasts* Assistance with year end and provision of information to group auditors* Ad hoc assistance to GFC / CFOThe successful candidate will require the following: * CIMA, ACCA or equivalent part-qualified - "Qualified by Experience" acceptable, as value will be placed on quality, relevant experience* Suitable experience of working at a similar level in a finance environment* Self-starter, capable of working from home* Attention to detail whilst looking after multiple responsibilities* Some travel may be required - own car required* Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and other Microsoft products* Experience of working with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sage50c Payroll advantageousThis is an exceptional opportunity to play a key part in the future success of an innovative & fast-growing business - with significant developmental and progression opportunities available as a result.
