Job Description

Finance Integrations (Billings) - Project Manager - Competitive Fixed Term Contract until Nov 2022A fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious, Top-Tier Global Law Firm as Global Integrations Project Manager as part of their Global Finance Transformation Programme.This role is responsible for managing the successful delivery of the end-to-end global solution technology and functionality. Working with third party vendors, IT and Finance departments as well as programme teams.The global solution is an industry leading concept to facilitate global client billing across the US and International practices both of whom are implementing, in parallel, new finance systems on different technology platforms. The global solution is broadly separated in to three components:

  • The IT infrastructure to facilitate the exchange of data
  • The enablement for region specific technology services
  • Front end functionality
    • There will be a requirement to ensure alignment of delivery timelines across the two finance system implementations as well as data and technology standards.Essential skills:As a seasoned professional project/programme manager you will have experience of working on complex, international business transformation projects, with an often-ambiguous course of action/way forward and require no handholding, with experience of working on programmes that involve the introduction of new technology (within finance/billings would be a real advantage):
  • Experience of managing the full project lifecycle (from requirements; through design; through testing; to business transition and support)
  • Experience of managing the following projects:
    • ü Finance/billing systems projects/programmes from, ideally Elite 3e/Aderant/Fulcrum S4 HANAü Software development projectsü Infrastructure delivery projectsü Data services projectsü Integration projects
  • Resource management - internal and third party
  • Must have experience working in the legal or professional services sectors
  • Extensive exposure to senior business and finance stakeholders (Partner/C-level/board level) is essential so exceptional relationship-building skills, gaining consensus, and using adoption methods are vital
  • Strong, formal Project management experience and qualification (Prince2/APMP/Agile Certification/MSP or PMI)
  • Exceptional communication skills and a diplomatic and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
