* Polishing* Glazing* FinishingLodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with a Sheffield based manufacturing business who is one of the leaders in their market. Due to increased workload, they have created a new position for a Polisher to join their team on a permanent basis.With your choice of morning start time, the successful Polisher will be finishing a range of components to tight tolerances. You will be working with glazing belts, polishing wheels and pedestal grinders to leave the components at the specified level of finish.The main duties for the Polisher will include:* Glaze and polish components in conjunction with the production schedule, complying with appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) and Health and Safety requirements.* Highlight products that do not meet quality standards by raising the appropriate non-conformance report, accurately maintain all records and documentation, notify the appropriate person(s) when problems are encountered.If you are a Polisher with some, or all, of the following skills & experience, we want to hear from you:* Experience polishing titanium, cobalt chrome and stainless steel components in a similar role would be ideal.* Experience working with glazing belts, polishing wheels and pedestal grinders highly advantageous.* Must be methodical, accurate and precise with a keen eye for detail.* Able to follow work instructions.The business is a well-regarded manufacturer with an excellent company culture.
