Job Description

Generator Engineer required. My client is a leading supplier of power Generation solutions across the UK. They are looking to expand their generator team by bringing on another generator engineer to work at client sites throughout the UK.The ideal candidate will come from a generator Engineering background and be happy to travel nationally with occasional visits to the workshop in Rotherham.Generator Engineer Position Overview

  • Servicing generators at client sites nationally and internationally
  • Leading and overseeing generator projects
  • Work with the Service Co-ordinator to schedule in own work
  • Representing the company in a professional manner by attending FATs/SATs
  • Liaising with clients to resolve issues
  • Schedule in routine generator surveys/services for all site KIT
  • Regularly checking with Head of Field Service
  • Training colleagues when required
Generator Engineer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience servicing generators is essential
  • Experience testing Load Banks
  • High Voltage experience
  • Have experience creating RAMS
  • Engine rebuild experience desirable
  • Experience working on PLCs would be beneficial
  • Prepared to travel nationally and spend nights away (expenses paid)
  • CSCS / ECS card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Generator Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Hours full time Monday - Friday, paid weekend overtime available
  • Company Van
  • Laptop, mobile and fuel card
  • Pension
