General Procurement AdministratorSalary: £25,000 - £28,000Location: Sheffield An experienced administrator is required to provide administrative support to the General Procurement team.THE ROLE: For the General Procurement team, to support in the following tasks:Raise and efficiently process Stores purchase orders for replenishment and repairs.Open order book reviews, to include obtaining order acknowledgements, confirming delivery dates and managing overdue purchase orders.Data collection and analysis for reporting, i.e. spend, delivery performance, etc.Administer agreed consignment stock price changes.Maintain info records and source list for existing and new materials and services.Monitor Procurement inbox and efficiently resolve queries, liaising with Suppliers and end users, as appropriate.Monitor blocked invoices list and resolve price discrepancies.Support all departments to resolve parked invoice list in a timely manner.To assist Category Manager with the purchasing of minor requirements, including obtaining prices of ad hoc stores stock items. Support Stores with finding alternatives to obsolete items, coordinating with appropriate department, i.e. Engineering.Administration and follow up of new supplier approval requests.Maintain contract database.SAP support to end-users.To undertake any other priority duties or projects as reasonably requested.THE CANDIDATE:Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English & MathsMinimum of 2 years experience in a busy administration environment where output is time-criticalWell motivated, self-starterStrong and effective oral and written communication skillsAnalytical and numerateGood people skillsGood IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office software with a strong emphasis towards ExcelWorking knowledge of SAP, or similar ERP systemTHE BENEFITS:28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing in 6 months to 33,quarterly bonus, Westfield Healthcare, Employee Discount Codes and Free onsite ParkingTHE CONSULTANCY:Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
