Spread across over 30,000 sq, ft, Yard Ball Sheffield is a nostalgic football & social experience due to open in April 2024.Our unique concept will transport visitors back to a time when football was fun and Social Clubs were a staple along side a chippy tea on a Friday. Fusing Social Club aesthetics, great food, 90’s culture and street football classics like Kerby and one-manWembley, all while reminiscing about baggy kits, teletext scores, bad haircuts (usually by your mum), games on the garages or under the pub car park lights when it gets dark.Pure nostalgia. Zero VAR.This is a country-first venue, with ambitious plans for growth throughout the UK, so now is a great time to be part of this exciting business.What we expect:In a General Manager, we want a leader that drives the business forward in a role that requires you to be a real team player with a passion for service and customer enjoyment. A winning personality and a love for the game.Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure we are delivering the best immersive experience for our guests on every visit.
  • Creating and delivering quarterly business plans.
  • Leading by example through; Training, coaching and developing a winning team.
  • Managing a P&L to meet financial targets and expectations.
  • Ensuring the business is managed correctly to achieve Quarterly and Yearly Bonus.
  • Managing the Safety, Security and licensing aspects of the business.
  • Managing our guest experience platform to improve service and standards.
  • Maintain a fun and engaging culture using our Brand Values and Company Ethos.
  • Monthly reviews with all your team members encouraging their growth and development.
  • Ensuring service standards and duty management are upheld throughout operating hours.

Job specifics:
  • 45hr working hours.
  • It is expected that you will be available to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Expected to have a reliable commute to work.
  • Managing a large team of up to 30 staff members.
  • Reporting KPI’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly to the board.
  • Liaising with all departments of the Yard Ball business including; marketing, sales, finance, operations and maintenance.
