Job Description

Logistics People are looking for Gatehouse Operative to join our team.Location: SheffieldWorking Hours: 4on 4off Days or NightsPay rate: £9.75 - £10.75 + OT £19.50 - £21.50 + £250 Monthly Attendance BonusLogistics People are currently recruiting Gatehouse Operatives to join our Team in Sheffield, Based at our Great Bear site.We have plenty of opportunities available for the right people, so apply today and join our fast growing team! You do not need to have previous warehouse experience!What doesworking as a Gatehouse Operator for Logistics Peopleinvolve

  • An empty lorry will come onto site; the driver will provide you with an order number which you will punch into the systemyou will lease with the yard operative and FLT drivers who will load the correct goods onto the outgoing lorry.
  • You will be responsible for Booking in and out lorries.
  • Leasing with the customers and shop floor workers on the Yard.
  • Logging onto to the IT system to ensure all deliveries are correct and all lorries are sent away with the correct items.
The CandidateTo be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
  • Customer facing experience
  • Computer literate and be able to work IT systems
  • Hard working, punctual and happy to do the hours specified.
  • Reliable and be a good communicator.
