Job Description

GAME ANALYST £55,000 - 65,000 REMOTE Work in this thriving gaming brand investing in analytics and the future of online gaming. An opportunity to work in this flexible and forward thinking brand with all the perks of working in computer games!THE COMPANY Computer game specialist who understand the importance of good marketing and good analytics. Work on new tools, be subject to quality training and play games on a daily basis!THE ROLEAs a Games Analyst your focus will be to understand the in play performance and player preference, specifically you will:

  • Use SQL and Python to understand vast sets of data related to the players and playing on the game. What do players enjoy/hate, what do they want and how can you keep them interested!
  • Dive into new content, what do players want to see and how can you help devise strategies to grow the game
  • Run live A/B tests on the game to discover what players like to use and dont as well as testing new content and the difficulty of the game
  • Complete audience segmentation to see if particular audiences want different things and use this to target pop ups and ads to encourage participation
YOUR SKILLSThe successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong SQL to query and code large data sets, being analytically minded and a passion for data led decisions
  • Exposure or understanding to Python/R
  • Great communicator and able to convey complicated technical terms in digestible language
  • Passion for gaming and the computer games industry
