Job Description

SUMMARYAre you looking to join a thriving creative agency Our client who are located in Sheffield are looking for a full stack superstar to join their ambitious and growing team.You will be working closely with everyone in the studio, across multiple projects at any one time, have proven experience across commercial projects and working as a core team member. You should be well versed with both frontend and backend technologies, especially PHP and be comfortable moving from Object Orientated MVCs to extending CMSs such as WordPress.THE SKILLS

  • Proficient in PHP development
  • Proficient working with MVC and CMS (custom WordPress including ACF essential, with Drupal a bonus)
  • eCommerce (WooCommerce essential, Magento, Shopify & Opencart a bonus)
  • Proficient with responsive front-end development
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JS (jQuery essential, other libraries a bonus)
  • Proficient with back-end development:
  • Wizards in PHP development (procedural a bonus)
  • Considerable knowledge in querying MySQL database
  • Experience with API development, integration and testing
  • Well-versed in git version control, particularly using the Git Flow workflow. (automated pipelines a bonus)
  • A working knowledge of Linux server management experience
  • Ability to quickly switch context and manage concurrent projects
  • Experience working in an agency 2+ years essential
  • OTHER ASPECTS OF THE ROLE
  • Ability to explain technical information in a non-technical way
  • Strong desire to solve problems or have foresight to flag them up before they are real
  • Display an attention to detail in all aspects of work, from scoping to QA and testing
  • Willingness to become the champion of the clients business and goals
  • Take part in daily stand-up meetings to report activity, progress and issues
  • Ability to hit deadlines and work within agreed budgets
  • Build and drive your relationship with key contacts in the business
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners
