Job Description

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for either a German or French speaking Export Sales Executive to join a world leading steel and alloys company. You will have the responsibility to develop individual sales and team objectives, as well as buildnew business.LANGUAGESFluency in either French or German, as well as EnglishLOCATIONSheffield, United Kingdom. Office based.COMPANY BACKGROUNDOur client is a successful, international manufacturer and supplier of a range of alloys that are used extensively throughout the world in a range of industries (marine, oil & gas, aerospace etc). JOB RESPONSIBILITIESIn order to grow export sales across Europe, they wish to recruit either a French or German speaking Export Sales Representative. Your typical job responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and action plans to meet sales targets and monitor performance
  • Review customer, agent and territory activity, trends, and opportunities.
  • Maintain existing accounts, including preparing and submitting quotations and following up the opportunity with the customer
  • Provide the department with market feedback to aid future decision making
  • Maintain and action a business development plan, with milestones and targets
  • Provide support to the team leader in the smooth running of the department.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • Fluency in either French or German, as well as English
  • Experience in working in a metal stockholding, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Have an initiative-taking approach to sales and optimise the potential of both new and existing customers
  • Have a proven history in the sales environment
  • Enjoys and has enthusiasm to build and create excellent business connections
  • Be able to travel and build relationships face-to-face.
