Job Description

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, focusing on manufacturing positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions. We are working with the UKs leading manufacturer of its product. The role: FPI InspectorAre you a FPI Inspector that has worked in the aerospace industry and looking for a new challenge A fantastic opportunity has become available for a FPI Inspector to join a well-known Manufacturing business in Sheffield. Working Hours: 2 shifts whilst training then, will move to a 3 shift pattern Salary: £35,575.51 + 12.5% for 2 shifts and 17% shift allowance for 3 shifts Excellent Benefit Package includes: • Generous Holiday Allowance + Bank Holidays + Christmas leave • Free parking • Pension Scheme Key Responsibilities:

  • Review routers, procedures, specifications and any other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform the operation.
  • Process parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions.
  • Set up, calibrate and perform process control checks on equipment by following instructions and record results.
  • To generate new/amend NDT data cards for approval by the Level III.
  • Interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results as required.
  • Fill out required logs and statistical data sheets as required.
  • Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications etc)
  • Maintain work area, equipment and all documents/records to be audit ready at all times.
  • Provide on the job training to trainees and fellow level II inspectors when required.
Skills & Experience:
  • Currently or previously held NAS410/EN4179 Level II FPI
  • Currently or previously held PCN Level II FPI
  • Aerospace experience
