Job Description

An exciting opportunity for someone keen to work across multiple sites with various operational teams, having ultimate responsibility for the output of two small finance teams. Proven management ability, people skills, drive and a passion for managementaccounts and business partnering are key to this role.Client DetailsA market leading distribution business operating throughout the UK - excellent culture supporting a number of reputable brands.DescriptionThe role includes:

  • Manage and develop two small finance teams across three sites
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders
  • Oversee and review the weekly P&L reporting and provide weekly costing support
  • Lead any new tenders as finance lead, providing financial information to support the business development team
  • Oversee and review monthly management accounts for all profit centres, providing support to team as required
  • Attend customer meetings as finance lead
  • Review and understand commercial agreements and closely work with the commercial lead to support any price reviews
  • Providing MI information to key stakeholders and developing a relationship with the senior operational team to improve efficiencys and profitability at site
  • Lead annual budget process and periodic forecasting
ProfileKey Personal Skills:
  • Excellent people skills and proven management ability
  • Very commercially minded
  • Qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experienced in management accounts and budget / forecast preparation
  • Ability to manage various stakeholder expectations and deliverable
  • Clear and succinct communicator at all levels
  • Good team-player with the drive to see tasks through to completion and meet deadlines set
  • An enquiring mind that isnt afraid to question and take initiative, looking for constant development and improvement of procedures
