Job Description

An experienced Finance and ICT Director is required by a leading specialist organisation in the education sector. Thie position will form part of the senior management team and will have responsibility for the finance function along with ICT operations.The successful candidate will manage a small team and will be based on site near Sheffield. This is a superb opportunity to join a very well run organisation and superb team as part of the senior leadership team.While experience within the education sector would be useful it is by no means essential.A salary of up to £55,000 plus benefitsClientA leading organisation in the education sectorWhat you will be doing

  • Provision of strategic leadership across Finance and ICT operations as part of the senior management team.
  • Development of financial strategy, policies and procedures
  • Annual auditing process
  • Budgetary management
  • Risk management
  • Financial reporting
  • Development of ICT policies and procedures
  • ICT Infrastructure management
What you will need;
  • Relevant finance qualifications i.e ACA / CIMA / ACCA
  • Experience of working as part of a senior management team managing Finance and IT operations
  • Any experience with XERO would be useful but is not essential.
