Field Service Engineer (Electrical/Heavy Engineering)£32,000- £35,000 + Overtime (OTE £50,000-£55,000) + Company Van + bonus scheme + pension scheme.Sheffield- UK wide travel, occasional international travelAre you an Electrical Field Service Engineer looking for a varied and international role, with plenty of overtime, variety and training so you can progress within a growing companyYou will join a Service team of 9, carrying out service and commissioning on a range of low, medium and high voltage mostly electrical machinery.This is an established but continually growing company, with a global presence, you will be working at sites all around the UK and will also travel to varied foreign countries ranging from India to Argentina and Australia.The role would suit a mostly Serviced based engineer (around 75% of your workload) and some commissioning (around 25%), who is willing to travel in the UK and at times abroad.The Role:* Commissioning and Service on a varied range of heavy engineering machines (low, medium and high voltage) - including pumps and conveyors* Working in all types of heavy engineering- including mining and quarry work/ * Flexible shift pattern, standard working week of 37 hours * Huge amount of overtime available and expected, paid at 1.5x standard rate Monday-Saturday and 2x standard rate on Sunday * Lots of progression available, in similar positions all the way up to team leader and higher* Up to 3 months training both in the factory and the field, to prepare yourself fullyThe Person: * Engineering background with a strong electrical grounding* Experience of service engineering underground work, tunnel, mining or similar* NVQ level 3, City and Guild or similar * Willing to travel, both in the UK and abroad, willing to spend on average 1 or 2 nights away in the UK a week and irregular periods ranging from 10 days up to 2 months abroad, although these are very infrequent (current engineer has only worked abroad twicein the last 2 years)* Willing to commit to a lot of overtime, including weekends, willing to work on average every other weekend.If youre interested in this role, click apply now to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
