The Company recruiting for the Field Insurance Surveyor:An opportunity has arisen to join a real success story of an organisation. In return for your experience, they can offer a very rewarding career, with excellent training andbenefits package.The Role of the Field Insurance Surveyor:Joining the business as a Field Insurance Surveyor, you will be managing a portfolio of domestic property insurance claims. Youll be liaising between insurance providers and the policy holder to build strong relationships, establish the urgency of the claim,and potentially spot fraudulent claims. Furthermore, estimate costs based on a survey, agree dates, determine materials, and collect payment if the policy holder wants materials not covered by the policy. In this field based role, youll be estimating materialsand costs involved on site. In addition to the fast-paced role, youll also be expected to:
  • Provide excellent and friendly service to potential customers
  • Effectively resolve customer projects, enquiries and questions
  • Deal with business enquiries & projects to ensure they are all processed correctly
  • Manage all projects efficiently
The Candidate for the Field Insurance Surveyor:The successful candidate must have excellent building or insurance knowledge and be able to demonstrate a high standard of written and spoken English. Youll have ideally come from an insurance, loss adjusting or building/construction position. The mainskills and abilities they are looking from an individual:
  • Experience with site and building surveying
  • Experience with insurance claims
  • Pro-active, hardworking attitude
  • Effective and empathetic communicator with strong verbal and written skills
  • Attention to detail, methodical mindset that can take the initiative
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
The Package for the Field Insurance Surveyor:
  • £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary
  • Overtime available
  • £6k car allowance
  • Credit card
  • 40 hours a week
