Job Description

Sheffield - 15p per mile, Payrate - £10.50Make a difference every dayBecome a Field Care SupervisorWe are currently recruiting a Field Care Supervisor to assist the Dinnington branch to co-ordinate the delivery of a safe and well planned domiciliary care service.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team and further your career. The branch is located in Sheffield and we deliver services in the following areas - S2- Arbourthorne, Norfolk Park, Duke, - S8 - Heeley, Meersbrook, Norton Lees, Woodseats- S12- Gleadless, Chrnoch, Basegreen,Intake, Birley, Frenchville, Hackenthorpe, - S14- Norton Jordanthorpe, Batemore, Meadowhead, Hemsworth, Gleadless ValleyDuties and Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the performance of care workers through direct observations of care delivery
  • Supporting and mentoring care workers in the community
  • Completing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments, medication reviews and quality assurance visits with our service users and families
  • Communicating effectively with branch staff, service users, care workers, families and carers and other professionals
  • On call duties as part of an agreed pre-planned rota
  • Supporting branch staff to co-ordinate care including providing care to our service users when needed
This role does involve early starts, late finishes and weekend working on a rota basis.Wed love to hear from you if youre:
  • Caring, compassionate and a good listener
  • Have experience of working within the care sector
  • Able to drive and have access to a vehicle
  • Able to manage your time effectively and mentor and lead others
