Job Description

Venatu Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a well-established company in the South Yorkshire area for Civil and Geotechnical manufacturing. The company require a fettler to assist the team in the manufacturing of components for civil and geotechnical projects.

  • £8.25 per hour, overtime is available.
  • Immediate start following interview.
    • THE ROLE:Working on the manufacturing of a variety of components and threading for some of the UKs most impressive and exciting civil and geotechnical projects to work on rock anchors, concrete fixing and soft nails.DAY TO DAY DUTIES - You will:
  • Assist welders with fabrication duties
  • General hose keeping duties i.e. sweeping up, keeping work area tidy
  • Helping machinists with workload
  • General labouring duties
  • Cutting steel bar to size for fabricators
  • Although it is not essential if would be advantageous if you had machining experience
    • PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Ideally with own transport
  • Hard-worker and eager to develop a career in engineering
