Job Description

A leading law firm, recognised by the Legal 500, has an exciting opportunity to join their firm as a Family Paralegal in their Sheffield office on a full-time basis. You will work alongside a specialist team who have earned a reputation for excellence, valueand superb customer service.The client A longstanding law firm with an excellent reputation both locally and nationally, that pride themselves on their attention to detail, client care and care of their employees. Our client is looking to appoint an experienced family paralegal to theirSheffield team, to deal with a mixed workload of divorce, finances and separation matters.The role The role will consist of assisting the head of department on a mixed workload of divorce, finances, separation, civil partnerships, cohabitation disputes and children act work to name a few, you will also be expected to assist with any administrativeduties from time to time. There is genuine scope for progression within the team, allowing you to build your own small caseload under supervision.The ideal candidate

  • Experience as a Family Paralegal with at least 1 full year working knowledge
  • Experience of The Family Court system and CAFCASS
  • Good IT knowledge including Word and Excel
  • Experience of doing your own Court Hearings is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills - experience in dealing with clients via telephone and face-to-face is essential
  • Fantastic organisational and time management skills
