Job Title: Exhaust WelderSector: AerospaceSalary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum - including shift Contract: Full Time / PermanentVerus Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting a leading international engineering manufacturer. We are supporting the Recruitment of a Welder on a full-time basis due to continued growth and projects.Your role will be to carry out the fabrication and assemble of components using manual TIG Welding, semi-automated Circumferential and Longitudinal Welding machines making sure parts are compliant with internal and customer requirements.You will be tasked with:Job Purpose & Duties:* Use semi-automated welding equipment for both Circumferential and Longitudinal welds and use a variety of techniques such as manual TIG and Spot welding.* Conduct weld inspection as required.* Make weld repairs as and when required.* Ensure that components are to the correct tolerances and meet the customer, internal and specification standards (NADCAP and AS9100 standards)* Interpret drawings and work to instructions and procedures.* Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance requirements.About You:* A minimum of 2 years experience working as a welder in a similar industry.* Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.* Previous experience in TIG welding is essential.* Ideally experience of semi-automated welding equipment for both Circumferential and Longitudinal welds.* Experience in working to customer specifications.* The ability to work in a team and autonomously.* Aerospace, Automotive, Marine, or Defence experience ideally.* A keen eye for detail.* Able to work the morning shift and afternoon shifts.Whats in it for you* £25,700 basic salary with a shift premium of 12.5% making the salary £28,913.* Free Parking.* Generous holiday allowance.* Working for a fantastic global business.* Pension scheme and other benefitsFor more information, please contact our Sheffield Team on .***Verus Recruitment Partners are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy and is an Equal Opportunities Employer***Keywords: Welder, TIG, Circumferential Welding, Longitudinal Welding, Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing.
