Job Description

Estates & Facilities Manager to oversee a group of corporate offices for a leading Education provider.Client DetailsA leading Education Business are looking to appoint a Group Facilities Manager to oversee their portfolio of office spaces.This role will report directly into the CFO and will be responsible for ensuring facilities are compliant, safe & secure whilst contributing to a collaborative, flexible working environment for their staff.Description

  • Oversee the Facilities Management for circa 15 managed office spaces
  • Lead contract negotiator with managing agents on lease, service charges, dilapidations etc.
  • Monitor progress of the construction/maintenance to ensure the finished works are correct to the agreed specification, quality, cost and timings.
  • Proposing and delivering, savings, efficiencies and other targets, supported by appropriate analytics and reporting including relevant environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Ensure all properties are fully compliant
  • Managing the Facilities Team on all sites to deliver all required services.
Profile
  • 10+ years demonstrable experience in a senior Property or Procurement related role.
  • Degree-level educated.
  • Strong Facilities management experience including preferably of a global office portfolio
  • Experience of full life cycle of facilities management from lease acquisition, design and delivery of internal fitouts, ongoing service management to existing a lease.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with extensive and relevant experience of 3rd-party negotiations, commercial terms, contracting and subsequent vendor management; strong negotiator that achieves optimal results.
  • Knowledge of health and safety and other regulatory and legislative requirements related to facilities management.
