- Position : Environmental Monitoring Technician- Sector : Manufacturing/Engineering- Location : Rotherham- Salary : £25,000 - £35,000- Reports to : Environmental ManagerMain duties:- Perform emissions testing, and preparation of test reports.- Performance of Environmental noise assessment, and review of other such work undertaken by departmental staff.- Preparation of quotations for environmental services, including sales visits to customers as appropriate.- Supervision of maintenance of emissions testing equipment, including organisation of calibration, repair and servicing of instruments.About you:- Appropriate science and technical qualifications, supplemented by appropriate in-house and external training. MCERTS LEVEL 2 with appropriate endorsements- Person shall be able to work autonomously and be capable of executing an order from the sales and quotation stage through to invoicing and client feedback.- Access equipment training with current and valid certificates would be desirable
