The services offered through Tes.com play a critical role in helping teachers and school leaders deal with the challenges of providing high quality education to millions of children across the globe.Role overview:The Education Consultant will hold responsibility as the ‘account owner for all B2B SaaS sales and commercial activity for their accounts. They will be responsible for growing revenues from a portfolio of products, and for building and managing a robust pipeline of sales opportunities for their accounts.Led by their manager (General Manager) to:

  • own the ‘trusted advisor relationship with our schools
  • build and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities across SaaS product portfolio
  • manage existing schools needs
  • focus on retention of Schools using a Tes product
  • Key role responsibilities:
  • Meet revenue and key performance indicators set by the business.
  • Implement sales strategies and plans across all sales areas and regions to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
  • Rapidly increase the penetration of TES Global services within UK Schools and colleges in line with the sales targets, market penetration and product coverage KPIs.
  • Display a passion for education; to become the ‘go to for our customers.
  • Strategically navigate the buying and renewal processes; communicate tactfully and persuasively with stakeholders and budget decision makers.
  • Provide regular reporting on forecast and targeted revenue and KPIs.
  • Education and experience requirements:
  • Excellent business development skills, with a proven track record of building a robust sales pipeline.
  • Fluent with technology - comfortable both using and discussing technology.
  • Highly commercial individual with significant growth experience in prior roles.
  • Experience of driving growth in an education-centric or SaaS environment.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in Pre-Sales, Product, Sales Operations and service providers to achieve desired business outcomes.
