Job Title: EcologistLocation: SheffieldRef: AJ112Penguin Recruitment is currently working with an intimate ecological consultancy that is driven on preserving and improving our ecological world. They have a reputation for delivering high quality outcomes on both large and smaller-scale projects acrossthe UK. This elaborate company offers specialised services to both public and private clients.The ideal candidate would be working alongside assistant ecologists and senior ecologists to carry out extended phase 1 habitat surveys and evaluate habitats. Being an ecologist with this client would also involving working in the field collect date andthen analysing to produce Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and similar report. The successful ecologist would also have the opportunity to undertake a collection on species surveys, including Bats, GCN, Reptiles, and Newts.In order to be considered for this role, the candidate should have excellent report wringing abilities and be a member of CIEEM. A collection of license applications would be a benefit to your application; however, a Level 2 Bat license is essential. Thecandidate should also be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues whilst providing clients with advice and strategies to any potential environmental issues.
