Job Description

I am now looking for an EC&I Engineer (Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation), to work for an engineering business located in Sheffield on an initial 6 month contract. If you have a background in Electrical Engineering or Project Engineer this position may be suitable.Client DetailsBased in Sheffield my client is a large manufacturing business now looking to recruit an EC&I Engineer (Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation) for a 6 month contract.DescriptionAs the EC&I Engineer (Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer) you will report directly into the UK Team leader to ensure the maintenance and upgrade of all site electrical systems. This will be delivered in a safe, effective and efficient manner.Job Spec

  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of all predictive and upgrade electrical maintenance in all areas of the business. Direct reporting to the UK Engineering leader and to ensure that the maintenance department delivers a safe, effective and efficient service to operations.
  • Implementation and development of the site CMMS to involve direct liaison with the Maintenance Manager, and Electrical and Mechanical Team Leaders.
  • To assist in the strategic development of the maintenance philosophy by implementing new maintenance techniques and procedures directed at increasing the overall plant availability.
  • To be directly involved in the planning stages of all planned outages to ensure outage time schedules and specific maintenance programmes are completed on time and within budget. Direct supervision/liaison with sub contractors either as a general additional maintenance resource or through specific maintenance contracts.
