Job Description

Well established, independent, small software house in central Sheffield (S1) is seeking an experienced.Net Software developer.About the RoleThe role is primarily C#, Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server. The job involves development on new systems, and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems for a collection of their clients. The candidate will be working both individually at times as well as part of a small development team.Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Main skills required should include some/all of .NET Core MVC, ASP.NET 4 MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, Transact SQL
  • Additional skills that would be advantageous include Telerik/Kendo MVC controls, JQuery, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular, Xamarin
  • The candidate should ideally have a software related degree
  • The candidate must have good communication skills as daily client interaction is necessary
  • The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Project Management and Consultancy skills (such as scoping, designing and specification work) may be required
    • Note: Relevant training is available if needed for additional technologiesSalary & Other details:
  • Salary is dependent upon experience and skills, to approx. £45k
  • The role is largely office based, so the ideal candidate will live in commutable distance
