Job Description

.NET DeveloperThe Role:An opportunity has arisen for a .NET Developer to join a team building bespoke software in the telecoms industry.You would be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving internal CRM software and related systems.
  • Developing software solutions for business problems and helping to automate business processes.
  • Aid Senior Developers to update the project deployment plan with key information to ensure a smooth release to production systems.
  • Update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house training and courses, reading manuals and business process documents.
  • Research and recommend new approaches and suggest improvements, in particular automation of processes wherever possible.
    • The position is based in Sheffield, 2 days in office and 3 days remote with a salary of up to £40,000.What theyre looking for:This position would fit someone who has strong communication and research skills, who can work well alone and as part of a team to produce innovative solutions to business problems.The ideal candidate would have:
  • Knowledge of C#, NET, Microsoft .NET Framework, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, Entity Framework and, T-SQL/Relational Databases.
    • The following skills would be desirable:
  • Containerisation (Docker etc.)
  • Angular Typescript
  • AWS Services (S3, SQS, SNS, EC2 etc.)
  • SOLID Principles
  • Unit Testing Frameworks (XUnit, NUnit)
  • IOC/Dependency Injection
  • Knowledge of the principles of Service Oriented Architectures
  • Experience developing three-tier web architectures
  • Understanding of event-based architectures
  • Understanding of Agile programming methodologies
