GI Group are currently recruiting for experienced Dispatch Operatives on behalf of our client based in the Sheffield, S3 area. Working Hours:Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:30. 1 hour unpaid lunch.Job Types: Temporary - Permanent.Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour.Duties/Responsibilities: The role will include duties such as:- You will be involved in basic builds, assisting with the production of items.- Checking for damaged or missing items- Moving stock around by hand- Picking and packing online orders- Loading goods for dispatch and portering stock around the shop floor.Essential Skills Required:- Previous experience working in a fast paced assembly/packing environment.- Accuracy in all tasks and measurements, and a high grade of work.- Be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used. - Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation.- Be competent at working alone or as part of a team.- Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department.- Be aware of all company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.
