Location: LondonContract: PermanentHours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)Salary: Between £85,000 - £105,000 Depending upon experience Benefits package:

THE ROLEWe are currently recruiting for a new Director of Information Security to work within our existing Operations division.The Director of Information Security will lead the Information Security function within the first line of defence in the organisation. Lead both the evolution and enhancement of information security practices across the bank as well as leading and developingour colleagues in the Information Security team. Reporting into the MD IT Infrastructure and Operations, this role will be a key member in the operations senior leadership team and voice of information security at key governance forums within the bank includingthe Executive Committee and Executive Audit and Risk Committee.As Director of Information Security, you will be responsible for ensuring an appropriate security culture and considerations are built into our business as usual and project processes. As Director of the function, you will be responsible for leading on allelements of information security (confidentiality, integrity, and availability), supporting business leaders to make the right decisions with regards to Information Security risk.Your challenge will be to develop and lead the InfoSec function following a centre of excellence model that will allow to do things once and well, making effective use of technology where possible; along with the creation of the right security standards,controls, outcomes, and culture for the successful delivery of departmental business, ensuring the services you deliver are first class.To be considered for this role you must have experience of leading Information Security practices/functions in small to mid-size organisations along with experience of working closely with Risk and Compliance to implement effective information security managementframeworks.You will also be an experienced leader/line manager and be adept at running senior stakeholder meetings.Experience of NIST, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001 are also essential and experience of working within a financial services organisation previously would also be desirable.Click here to view the full job descriptionABOUT US The British Business Bank is a unique and exciting institution.
