Are you an Estimator with AutoCAD design experience and knowledge looking for your next role with a reputable supplier to the construction industryOn offer is the chance to join a multimillion pound turnover company in a varied role working with a new construction product mandatory to new building regulations with the opportunity to progress to senior positions and gain further training.This well-established company specialise in the supply of various building products to the construction industry ranging from brickwork, fixings, waterproofing, fire safety and concrete products. With a variety of reputable suppliers this company work withall blue chip companies and subsequent subcontractors to provide products best suited to large construction developments. Now with the development of their own product targeting fire safety building regulations they are looking for a Design Estimator to workin a newly developed team.In this role you will be based from the Sheffield office but also be attending site visits predominantly across the M1 corridor from Manchester to London. You will mainly be office based and be responsible for interpreting drawings from architects and contractorsfor the installation of specific cavity wall products into developments in line with recent building regulations. You will be marking up drawings, quantifying how much product is require and move these drawings into dimensional sheets. You may need to produceyour own CAD drawings where necessary.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Estimator to join a successful company in a role with varied workload, the opportunity to visit clients, progression and training alongside a generous salary and package.
