  • Have strong teamwork and communication skills
The Draughtsperson responsibilities Produce detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings for production, customers and suppliers ensuring all measurements are present and correct using SolidWorks software Liaise with the production team to determine schemes of work for each production job Liaise with Production Engineer responsible for CAM programming Create CAD models that represent stages of manufacture Create drawings representing the agreed scheme of work Ensure administration of drawings and information complies with quality procedures Create drawings for jigs and fixings Produce design drawings for customer approval based on design requirements Identify potential issues and solutions with customer drawings Review and approve drawings created by other team members Undertake drawing work to be used in the development of the companys own products and processes Undertake this work in accordance with the requirements of the Design & Development team Assist with creation of production routings Acquire knowledge and understanding of current and relevant industry standards Undertake tasks in a timely and profession manner Adhere to the systems and processes of workflow Maintain drawing records in accordance with processes/procedures Positively interact and maintain relationships with key suppliers/customers and colleagues Contribute effectively to team meetings Other duties as advised by the Production Planning Manager and DirectorsAre you interested in learning more about:A company that values its employees, where you are more than just a numberA company where your ambitions are matched with by the opportunity within a company, where you are supported to maximise your ambitionsTo join this fantastic company on their journey apply today
