Demand PlannerLocation near to any of Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Sheffield or Salisbury would be considered£36,000 - £40,000 Basic plus company benefitsThe OpportunityWe are working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of ambient and chilled food products, they are an industry leader in their category. They operate in the UK and throughout Europe and within the UK they have a number of manufacturing plants.The RoleWe are seeking to appoint an experienced Demand Planner that will be responsible for 1000 SKU’s and the forecasting of demand for the group. You will have responsibility to manage demand from retail partners and that the forecast can be produced and delivered to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also manage the group forecasting tool and maintain overall forecast accuracyThe CandidateYou will be an experienced Demand Planner that has experience of using integrated software tools. You will be used to liaising with internal and external customers such as supply planners, business managers, sales and also further up the supply chain with retail partners. As an individual you will be highly numerate, have excellent communications skills and be able to easily build relationships with others, and be used to monthly demand planning processes in line with S&OP. A background in FMCG products is preferred, food would be advantageous. Required skills
