Job Description

Reed is working with one of our most forward-thinking clients in Sheffield, in the recruitment of a Credit Control. Our client is a future facing law firm with offices across the UK, now would be the perfect time to join the business as they have seen massivegrowth within the past few years.This role is hybrid working with 1 day in the office.Job Spec:Positions: x1Job title: Credit controllerWage: £24,500Location: SheffieldS1Hours: Full-time, 9am5pmContract Type: PermBENEFITS: Bonus Scheme 50% towards gym membership Study support Private, Life, Income, Dental, Critical illness insurance Loyalty awards Pension scheme up to 5% Holidays25 Days annual leave (increasing to a maximum of 28) + Bank HolidaysPurpose:To support the Practice Group Finance team in the management of the Firms debtors whilst maintaining good client relationships. Assist in identifying and executing ways to develop and enhance relationships with clients. Enforcement of credit policies including query resolution and treatment of bad/doubtful debt. Daily debt reviews using ARCS calendar to chase outstanding debt, ensuring all information is fully recorded onto ARCS system, adhering to the best practice guidelines. Liaison with external and internal clients to progress payment of invoices. Engage in discussions with Practice Group Finance team on debtor issues. Maintaining up to date bad and doubtful debt provisions. Working with the Debt Recovery Team in minimising overdue debt. Account reconciliations to ensure correct allocation of Funds received.About You:ESSENTIALprevious Accountancy experience Knowledge of a legal billing system would be beneficial. Proficient in MS Excel and Word. Computer literatebasic typing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels, confident, with professional telephone manner.
