Data EngineerFully remote£45, 000PermanentAn exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer looking to make an impact in the public health sector, in a rapidly growing start-up company.The CompanyA great opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a nursing recruitment SAAS platform and assist in a massive AWS migration program, and open doors for the company to work towards predictive analytics and machine learning. The company provides a platform tofacilitate ad-hoc staffing for the public health sector.As a Data Engineer, youll be responsible for building out ETL pipelines, building a data lake house solution, pulling SQL transformations out of the data late, cleaning it, and pulling it into AWS. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is lookingto give back to the public health sector, while developing their own skills and working with a wide range of data.The Role and Responsibilities

  • Migrating data from third party provider to AWS
  • Developing a data lake house solution to suit company needs
  • Facilitate utilising machine learning and predictive analytics, in future, by making data governance and security more manageable
Your Skills and Experience
  • Experience using AWS, Glue, and building out AWS pipelines
  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience with Business Analysis tools (desirable)
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
