Job Description

This well-established South Yorkshire based firm is looking for a Customer Service Telephone Advisor to join the Sheffield offices as part of the legal team. Although this is a Legal Advisor role, you do NOT need a legal background to be successful asyou will be given full training, although an understanding of Employment Law would help.The Customer Service Telephone Advisor role would be communicating with clients via various methods but primarily the telephone in order to take their instructions in connection with legal claims. You, theTelephone Legal Advisor, would provide basic legaladvice.The successfulTelephone Legal Advisor will:

  • To provide preliminary advice on Employment claims and take initial instructions from members
  • To contact members over the telephone primarily and in writing/by email
  • To input the necessary data onto our Proclaim case management system
  • To maintain and keep updated the case management system in accordance with SLAs
  • To provide excellent customer care in line with required SLAs and audits
  • To answer all inbound calls and make all outbound calls in a prompt and professional manner to agreed departmental standards
  • To meet strict deadlines
  • To perform general administration tasks
  • To undertake any tasks which may be required to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • To adhere to SRA and Data Protection regulations
  • To perform any other duties as and when required
