Job Description

Join a niche Medical Devices organisation with high quality Urology and Stoma Care products and a first-class home delivery service!Our client is in search of a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team as a Community Nurse Specialist, working across both Primary and Secondary Care sectors within Yorkshire and the East Midlands. The Community Nurse Specialist willadvocate our clients leading products for Stoma and Continence care through training and education, involving patient and product reviews and home delivery service.This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm)Requirements for the Nurse

  • A Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) with post-registration experience in Urology/Continence Care
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Ability to manage your time and resources efficiently together with possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Determination to progress professionally in Stoma/Colorectal Nursing.
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships with patients and Healthcare Professionals.
  • Flexibility in working patterns and willingness to travel when required.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
Role Responsibilities for the Nurse
  • Reporting to the Colorectal Nurse Manager, you will deliver safe and effective patient-centred services, which meet national, regional, and local requirements for patients with a colorectal cancer and other related colorectal disease.
  • Advise GPs, CCGs and MMGs on how to rationalise the prescribing of stoma products by offering GP review clinics, home visits and through feedback of results.
  • Produce a database to assist the surgeries with monitoring of prescription costs and updating patient records on an annual basis to maintain GP surgery relationships.
  • Offer clinic appointments to existing patients.
  • Support Healthcare Professionals by advising on best practice through clinical patient reviews resulting in the delivery of improved patient care.
  • Run Nurse-led clinics and implement clinical and product reviews.
  • Maintain and develop the prescription delivery service and the delivery of new patients onto the Home Delivery service.
