Job Description

Communications Team LeaderContractFlexible Working SheffieldSellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Communications Team Leader to join a large social housing organisation on an ongoing temporary basis.As The Communications Team Leader you will work in the Engagement and Communications Team supporting the delivery of the Communications and Tenant Voice Strategies.Responsibilities of the Communications Team Leader:

  • Supervising a small communications team who provide news, strategic and digital communications, as well as multimedia content creation and graphic design
  • Support and advise on marketing campaigns, content, videos, and case studies
  • Ensure a common narrative runs across all our channels with well-written, informative content that speaks to our various audiences in a relevant and engaging way
  • Work closely with service areas across the organisation
  • Maximise opportunities to ensure our internal and external customers are informed about issues that matter to them
  • Be proactive in turning our work into great stories for our tenants and colleagues
Experience required for the Communications Team Leader:
  • Have excellent written communication skills
  • Have experience with news and feature writing
  • Ideally have knowledge of the housing sector
  • Experience of leading a team
