Job Description

THE COMPANY:Brewster Executive are delighted to be supporting a progressive national organisation with its head office in South Yorkshire, to recruit a Commercial Underwriting AnalystTHE JOB:As Commercial Underwriting Analyst you will be based in the Finance function and support the business in delivering sustainable growth. You will be responsible for Underwriting Insight, transforming data into meaningful insight for the business as well asproviding analysis of monthly management accounts and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.Responsibilities will include

  • Work closely with the pricing team, assisting in the development of pricing models, interrogation of data and evaluation of key risk factors
  • Monitor performance of existing product portfolios
  • Assisting identifying and meeting gaps in internal underwriting capabilities
  • Profitability analysis
THE PERSON:You will have a strong track record in data and analytics reporting, financial modelling and management accounts and ideally in insurance and underwriting. In addition, you will have advanced data analysis tools, macros, SQL etc and be comfortable handlinglarge data sets.You will be an effective communicator, and a team player with a self-motivated and adaptable approach.THE BENEFITS:This is a great organisation to work for, where you will be valued and supported.Benefits include.
