REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company with a strong reputation.CNC Tuner/CNC Mill Turn1. SET UP AND OPERATESetting up and operation of CNC lathes (Fanuc controls), bar feed / sliding head & CNC Mill Turn, mounting and dismounting workpieces on/from machines, performing roughing, and finishing operations.Supporting processes, including goods/material in, booking work out to heat treatment, operation of bandsaw to cut HSS into billets.2. TECHNICALDRAWINGS & FORMULAECompetently interpret technical drawings to produce components as specified on the Job Card; Application of surface speed / cutting speed formulae.3. PROGRAMMINGWriting programs (Fanuc) to produce relevant components including editing, modification, backing up and trouble shooting.4. INSPECTIONIn line inspection of components produced to ensure accuracy and high quality, extensive use of measuring equipment.5. MAINTENANCEFirst line maintenance of machinery and parts; cleaning of machines to ensure efficient running, ensuring immediate work environment is safe, clean, and tidy6. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTSTo identify and suggest continuous improvements in the immediate working environment.7. HEALTH & SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITYTo follow/adhere to H&S and Environmental legislation and adhere to company rules, regulations and standards for quality, H&S and EnvironmentKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Apprentice trained CNC TurningSliding Head , bar feed (Citizen) CNC Mill Turn (Nakamura) Wire EDM Working to a high level of accuracy and quality; working under pressure with minimal supervision Communication skills and problem solving Produces quality products, use of measuring equipment, adheres to quality and H&S procedures Familiar with turning operations; Understanding of tooling applicationDAYS ONLY ROLE
