Job Description

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturings team are working in partnership with this reputable client who provide engineering services globally, based Sheffield. Two CNC Milling vacancies preferably, you will have Heidenhain programming experience. Also, one of these positions would be open for someone with CAD CAM understanding to support their Solid Cam Programming resource.Requirements are as follows:*Time served with experience in the use of Hiedenhain control 3 Axis with Rotary (experience with 5 Axis an advantage)*Experience with medium to large components, spiral milling, port details and thread milling*Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and write machining programs*Must be prepared to be flexible around operating different machines within the department *Must be a team player and open minded to new ideas*Must be open to extra hours as required and possible shift work*Must be dependable and reliableStarting on £13 to £14 per hour, however, the shop rate of pay for milling will increase to £15.19 per hour once a new starter is proven, and the CAD CAM position would be up to £16.10 per hour.Just for additional information, your normal working week is days at 38 Hours per week, with expected overtime paid at time and a half, and a Saturday morning shift where required.
