Job Description

As a time served Milling Machine operator preferably with experience in both manual and CNC machines. You will be working within a progressive machine shop on either the day or night shift you will be working on a variety of products. You will be expected to work as an individual or as part of a team you should be highly experienced in working to drawings and instructions.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe role has day to day tasks including:

  • Setting up and machining various sizes of products including fabrications and castings.
  • Communicating with Project/ Department Managers during production
  • Interpreting customer requirements from engineering drawings, sketches and written/verbal instructions.
  • Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures laid down in the Company Handbook.
  • Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.
  • Inspecting machined product and record accordingly.
  • Producing bespoke products for the oil and gas, nuclear, renewables and subsea.
