Job Description

Forde Recruitment, a leading provider of workers within the engineering sector, are proud to announce that they are currently working with one of the UKs leading manufacturers of orthopaedic products. Our client, based in Sheffield, are looking to recruita number of millers and programmers to set, operate, edit and programme the CNC milling machines.Main responsibilities will include:

  • Operating CNC 3,4 and 5 Axis milling machines - controls, adjusting wear offsets and inputting data manually
  • Setting up machines accurately to ensure repeatability
  • Read programs, edit existing programs and capability of writing basic programs long hand
  • Reading detailed engineering drawings
  • Practising health and safety protocols
  • Working as part of a team to assist others and contribute to the business
Working hours:
  • 0600-1400 Monday to Friday
  • 1300-2300 Monday to Thursday
  • Rotating shift pattern
Benefits:
  • Free, onsite parking
  • Shift allowance at x1.25
  • Overtime at x1.50
