Due to increased demand across their client base, they are now recruiting for CNCMaintenance Engineer at their Sheffield site.WHO ARE FORGED SOLUTIONS GROUPAcross established sites in the UK and in areas renowned for excellence in complex metal working, Forged Solutions Group have been manufacturing shafts, rings, discs, asymmetric forgings and extruded cylinders in a range of titanium, nickel, and steel alloysfor aerospace, energy production, underground mining and off-highway vehicles applications, for over 100 years.ROLE OVERVIEW The CNC Maintenance Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support to achieve KPI target levels for plant availability and equipment performance.SALARY£41,893WORKING HOURSWeek 1 - Monday - Thursday 6am-4pmWeek 2 - Tuesday - Friday - 10am-8pmWeek 3 - Monday - Thursday - 10am-8pmWeek 4 - Tuesday - Friday - 6am-4pmRESPONSIBILITIES* To support the companys manufacturing programme, by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns, and achievement of world class MTTR and MTBF metrics * Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean methodology and Manufacturing Equipment Excellence* Support product development and participate in new equipment installation / relocation of multi axis CNC Machinery* Reporting of work status on a timely basis to the Maintenance Supervisor * Maintain a log of activities carried out on equipment i.e., hours worked, spare parts used, uptime and availability* Ensure maintenance cover for the manufacturing area is provided at all times * Provide support to the facilities function to ensure maintenance routines are supervised and conducted in accordance with the requirements of the company* Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of Housekeeping (within specified areas) and to embrace the 5S initiative program on a daily basis* Enforce and practice the highest standards of Health & Safety at all times and ensure that all plant and ancillary equipment is maintained to these standards* Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in minimising machine down time by introducing autonomous maintenance programs* All other ad-hoc duties that may be required to support the site business plan* Work as part of a multi-functional Mechanical/Electrical on site CNC Engineering TeamSKILLS & EXPERIENCE* Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in all aspects of CNC machinery maintenance/Strong Mechanical Engineer in a manufacturing environment Strong Electrical, systems repair and diagnostic skills * Knowledge of manufacturing environment, especially within the steel forging industry would be advantageous.
