Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Team are delighted to be working in partnership with a manufacturing business based within the Rotherham area. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team at this exciting time of expansion. SALARY: £29,913WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 6am – 4.15pm DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be able to program Mazak and Mori Seiki CNC machinery
  • To set and operate CNC machines with mazatrol and fanuc controls
  • To work to customer specifications with minimum supervision once trained
  • To work to tight tolerances and be responsible for your own work ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times
  • To work to your own initiative and understand the manufacturing process
  • Report any tooling requirements to your immediate supervisor
  • Keep a clean and manageable working area
  • To take responsible approach to Health, Safety and Environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate
  • Ability to identify hazards
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be able to work from detailed drawings
  • Program directly onto the machines
  • Must be able to work to tight tolerances
