Early Intervention in Psychosis Service - Community Mental Health (x4 posts) Salary: Band 5 £24,907 - £30,615 pro rata (dependent on experience)Location: Limbrick Centre – Limbrick Road – S6 2 PEHours: 37.5 per weekThis is an exciting opportunity to work within a newly developing city wide service that provides care and treatment for individuals presenting with First Episode Psychosis and At Risk Mental State. The successful candidate would be given the opportunity to work within diverse multi-disciplinary team of professionals that work closely together to provide specific care pathways to those between the ages of 14-65.Duties in this role will include but not exclusively be:• Care coordinator for caseload of clients• Use of CPA framework• Working with others to undertake rapid and comprehensive assessment of clients referred to the team• Contributing to unplanned work rota• Managing Social care assessment, support planning and review process• Safely assessing and managing risk within the context of the wider MDTYou will have proficient knowledge of the principles of early intervention in psychosis, psychosocial interventions for people with SMI and previous experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team within a mental health setting. It is desirable, but not essential to have experience of working with people with psychosis and additional training or experience in PSI, CBTp and family interventions would be advantageous. We would especially welcome applicants who have experience of working with under 18’s.A professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing or Social Work is essential with current registration with NMC or Social Work England.The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children and as part of our safe recruitment practice the successful applicant(s) will be subject to a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) if it is deemed appropriate for the role.
