Business Development Manager - Stainless Steel Pipes, Fittings and Flanges and Value-Added ServicesBased: North or MidlandsArea Covered: UK & IrelandPackage: £30,000-£40,000, Very Strong Bonus, PensionAn exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Business Development Manager - Stainless Steel Pipes, Fittings and Flanges and Value-Added Services.The business is a forward-thinking organisation that is instantly recognisable as a market leader in their field, are technically very strong and have a strong and well-respected brand. The company are part of a multi-million-pound group who set the standardswithin the market with their exceptional and wide-ranging product range and on-time delivery service.The ideal candidate will have a strong Business Development or Sales expertise in Stainless Steel Pipes, Fittings and Flanges, Other Stainless Steel products or Stainless Steel, Other Types of Metals or someone who has experience of selling a different typeof Product into the sectors they sell into which includes Distributors, the Oil and Gas sector, the Pharmaceutical industry, the Food industry, the Energy sector, Distilleries, the Chemical sector, General Fabricators and the HVAC industry. They would alsolook at someone with experience of selling Projects/Contracts in the Heating and Ventilation sector, candidates who have experience in the Machining, Value Added Services, Fabrication or Engineering arenas or someone with experience in Steel Components towork across the UK and Ireland.As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for your own sales target and you will be measured on your attitude, commitment to the role and the company, being self sufficient and demonstrating you can work on your own or as part of a team.You will also be judged on how you integrate yourself into the team, wider business and overall group not to mention your financial results.The client is looking to recruit someone who can grow and develop what is an already very profitable and successful business and this role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the companyand wider group. You will be an ambitious and forward-thinking individual who thrives on a challenge and enjoys making profit for the company.The ideal candidate must have strong Sales or Business Development experience in Stainless Steel Pipes, Fittings and Flanges, Other Stainless-Steel products or Stainless Steel, Other Types of Metals or you will be experienced at selling into Distributors,Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical companies, the Food industry, Energy, Distilleries, Chemical companies, General Fabricators and the HVAC industry. Failing that, you will have a proven track record of growth and experience of selling Projects/Contracts in the Heatingand Ventilation sector, experience in the Machining, Value Added Services, Fabrication or Engineering arenas or in Steel Components to work across the UK and Ireland.The company require applicants who is very much a people person, who fits in to the culture of the company and the group, is confident, honest and willing to learn and adapt.
