Job Description

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager required to join a global pump manufacturer.The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will be responsible for new business development of pump products and services via distribution channels and OEM customers.The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will ideally have sales or management experience selling pumps or fluid power products such as hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air, pumps, valves, MRO - bearings,seals, mechanical components, etc with a desire to progress with a global pumpsbusiness.Package

  • £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales ManagerRole
  • Responsible for new business development of pump products and services via distribution channels and OEM customers.
  • Identify and target new clients and customers that can benefit from the Pump product range on offer.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling Industrial pumps, LSM pumps, Peristaltic pumps, Centrifugal pumps, Submersible pumps, Screw pumps, Piston pumps, Rotatory pumps, and associated products/equipment.
  • Maintaining new pump sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Office based near Chesterfield
Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales ManagerRequirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
  • Proven track record of Business Development and successful sales.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable Engineering Manufacturer.
  • A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Experience selling mechanical engineering equipment – hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air, pumps, valves, MRO - bearings, seals, mechanical components
  • Full clean driving license.
